Rug Cleaning in Cape Town
Area rugs cleaned on site or collected, cleaned at our warehouse and brought back dry. We check the material first, then vacuum, treat and extract.

How we clean rugs
Check the rug
We look at the material first to choose the right method, so the rug doesn’t shrink or bleed.
Vacuum and pre-treat
Loose dirt is vacuumed out, and stains are pre-treated and brushed.
Extract and dry
Extraction pulls out the embedded dirt and most of the water.
Collection
Loose rugs can be cleaned where they are, or collected, cleaned at our warehouse and brought back once they’re dry.
We clean all types of rugs except sisal.
Pricing
Rugs are priced on size, so it helps if you know roughly how many square metres yours is. How dirty it is, how old the stains are and where you are in Cape Town also count. Put the details on the form and we’ll send you a price.
Drying
A rug is usually dry within about four hours. Humidity and the rug’s material can stretch that a little.
Rug cleaning questions
Do you clean all types of rug?
Every type except sisal.
Will cleaning damage or shrink my rug?
No. We check each rug first and pick a method that suits its material.
Can you remove pet smells and stains?
Pet smells, yes. Stains depend on what they are. Wine and blood are hard to shift once they’re more than 48 hours old.
How often should a rug be cleaned?
Whenever it looks dirty. Don’t leave stains for long, because they get harder to remove.
Can you also do the fitted carpets?
Yes. See carpet cleaning, or tick both on the form.
